After more than a decade as a decorator in the film industry, Amanda Petrella founded ORTO BOTANICO in 2020. This scenographic creation studio, based in Liège, was born from her passion for flowers and her Italian heritage. Amanda, trained at the Academia di Belle Arti di Brera, has always had a special talent for transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, elevating the plant world and everyday objects. ORTO BOTANICO specializes in creating tailor-made decor for various clients, from communication agencies to retailers, including photographers, artists, and stylists.
Défi
Amanda’s main challenge was to create a visual identity and brand presence that reflects the unique and lush essence of her creations. The task was to capture the boldness, glamour, and attention to detail that characterize her decor while conveying her bespoke and narrative approach. Additionally, it was crucial to stand out in a competitive market and appeal to a diverse clientele while staying true to the artistic and personalized spirit of ORTO BOTANICO.
Solution
To meet this challenge, we created a sleek yet powerful logo inspired by timeless elegance, balance, and minimalist aesthetics. This logo symbolizes a universe where luxury and nature meet, with each detail telling a unique story. Around this logo, we developed immersive storytelling, where each ORTO BOTANICO project becomes a chapter in a grand visual narrative. Amanda’s flamboyant decor and bold floral compositions are presented as snapshots of magical moments, capturing the very essence of ORTO BOTANICO. The communication materials, both digital and printed, immerse the viewer in this captivating universe. The images and poetic texts invite daydreaming and immersion into the unique atmosphere created by Amanda, making each project a celebration of beauty and creativity.
Impact
Thanks to this new visual identity and the implemented communication strategy, ORTO BOTANICO has attracted a broader and more diverse clientele. Amanda’s projects have gained visibility, and her studio is now recognized for its unique approach and attention to detail. Collaborations with renowned brands and agencies have multiplied, and ORTO BOTANICO has become a key player in the field of scenography and floral design.
